Appointments within Societe Generale Group Management Committee

Societe Generale Group announces the following appointments within its Management Committee as of 1 September 2015:

- Patrizia Micucci, Group Country Head for Italy, as of 1 September 2015, in addition to her existing responsibilities as Head of Corporate & Investment Banking in Italy;

- Pavel Čejka, Chief Operating Officer at International Banking and Financial Services;

- Xavier Lofficial, Head of Group Transformation, Processes and Information Systems.

 

Patrizia Micucci joined Societe Generale in 2010 as Head of Coverage & Investment Banking division for Italy and in 2012 took also the role of SG CIB Chief Country Officer. Prior to joining Societe Generale, she worked for Lehman Brothers in New York and in Milan where, from 1990 to 2007, she was the Head of Investment Banking for Italy and member of the European Investment Banking Committee.

Pavel Čejka started his professional career in 1994 at Arthur Andersen, where he specialized mainly on advisory and audit for financial institutions in the Central European region. In 2000, he joined ČSOB (KBC Group) as Executive Director for Financial Management. He joined Komerční Banka in July 2003 as Deputy CFO, and from 2006 to 2012 he served as Executive Director of Strategy and Finance. In 2012, he was appointed a Member of the Board of Directors and Chief Operating Officer of Komerční Banka. He took the position as Chief Operating Officer at International Banking and Financial Services on 1 April, 2015.

Xavier Lofficial joined Societe Generale’s Corporate and Investment Banking division (SG CIB) in 1996. He held various management positions in the domains of IT and project management on SG CIB’s main markets in France, the USA and especially Asia. Between 2007 and 2011, he was SG CIB’s Chief Information Officer for the Asia-Pacific zone, based in Hong Kong. He was appointed to Societe Generale Global Solution Center (SG GSC) in Bangalore in 2011 as Chief Delivery Officer in 2011 and as the Chief Executive Officer in 2012.  He took the position as Head of Group Transformation, Processes and Information Systems on 1 July, 2015.
