Appointments within Debt Capital Markets Activities

Societe Generale Corporate & Investment Banking (SG CIB) announces the appointment of Felix Orsini as Global Head of Debt Capital Markets.

Based in Paris, Felix Orsini replaces Demetrio Salorio in this function and reports to Alvaro Huete, Deputy Head of Global Finance. He was previously Global Head of Debt Capital Markets Public Sector Origination and Global Co-Head of Debt Capital Markets Corporate Origination.

Andrew Menzies is promoted Global Head of Debt Capital Markets Corporate Origination. He was formerly Global Co-Head of Corporate Origination. Andrew Menzies remains based in London and reports to Felix Orsini.

Olivier Vion is appointed Global Head of Debt Capital Markets Public Sector Origination. Based in Paris, Olivier holds this position in addition to his current role as Head of Syndication for Sovereigns, Supras and Agencies.

Leveraging on strong advisory, structuring and execution capabilities, Societe Generale’s Debt Capital Markets teams accompany corporates, financial institutions and public sectors clients in their financing needs.

Biographies :

Felix Orsini
Felix Orsini is appointed Global Head of Debt Capital Markets at Societe Generale Corporate & Investment Banking, effective from 14 June 2019. He was previously Global Head of Debt Capital Markets Public Sector Origination within Societe Generale Corporate & Investment Banking since June 2016 and Global Co-Head of Debt Capital Markets Corporate Origination since June 2010. Felix joined the Societe Generale Debt Capital Markets’ team in 2008 as Head of DCM Origination for Corporate and Financial Institutions in France. Before joining Societe Generale, Felix developed and headed the ABN AMRO’s DCM Origination team in France for 12 years and he started his career at BNP in 1994 within Debt Capital Markets.
Felix is a graduate of ESSEC business school.

Andrew Menzies
Andrew Menzies is appointed Global Head of Debt Corporate Markets Corporate Origination, effective from 14 June 2019, following his role as Global Co-Head since July 2017. Prior to this role, Andrew Menzies joined Societe Generale Corporate & Investment Banking’s New York office in 2014 as the Head of DCM for the Americas and had been responsible for the franchise build out during the previous three years. Before this, he successfully headed the Bank’s Northern Europe and U.K. Corporate Debt Capital Markets team for four years. Andrew Menzies joined the bank in 2003 and his breadth of experience within the capital markets extends across borders with over 14 years experience, working with clients across the Americas, the United Kingdom and Ireland, the Netherlands and across Scandinavia.
Andrew Menzies graduated with an MA at the University of Edinburgh.

Olivier Vion
Olivier Vion is appointed Global Head of Debt Capital Markets Public Sector Origination in addition to his role of Head of Syndication for Sovereigns, Supras and Agencies effective from 14 June 2019. Since 2015, he is in charge of the Public Sector Bond Syndicate. Olivier Vion joined Societe Generale at the end of 2013 as Head of Supranationals and Agencies within the Debt Capital Markets department. Olivier worked previously at JP Morgan for 15 years where he held various positions on the trading side and lastly as Head of the Debt Capital Market Origination for frequent borrowers. Olivier started his career at CCF (now HSBC France).
Olivier Vion holds an MSc from HEC Paris, is a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) and a former board member of the CFA French Society.
