Appointments within ALD Automotive Group
ALD Automotive announces the following changes within ALD Automotive organization as of September, 1st:
Philippe Valigny, previously General Manager of ALD Automotive Turkey and Head of South-Eastern European hub, is appointed General Manager of ALD Automotive Morocco. Philippe also be in charge of regional supervision of Portugal and Algeria in the framework of a newly created hub covering these three countries.
Shane Dowling, previously General Manager of ALD Automotive Romania, is appointed General Manager of ALD Automotive Turkey. Shane will also take regional responsibility for the existing South-Eastern European hub (Turkey, Bulgaria, Romania and Greece).
Frédéric Banco, previously General Manager of ALD Automotive Morocco, is appointed General Manager of ALD Automotive Romania.

Biographies
Philippe Valigny is 49 years old and of French nationality.
After graduated from ESSEC Business School, he started his career at Renault Group, in France as Advertising Products Manager. Then, he joined Societe Generale Group in 2000 as Advertising Director. In 2004, Philippe joined ALD Automotive Group as General Manager, first in Romania and then in Ukraine, and became Regional Director of South-East Region (Bulgaria, Greece, Romania and Turkey) and CEO of ALD Automotive Turkey.
Shane Dowling is 46 years old and of Irish nationality.
He is a Marketing Graduate of the Marketing Institute of Ireland
He has been working in the motor industry for over 20 years. He held senior positions in Ireland as General Manager of Johnson and Perrot Fleet Services and Sales and Marketing Executive of Mitsubishi Motors Ireland.
Shane joined the ALD Automotive Group in September 2006 as International Sales Manager and was appointed Head of International Sales in 2010. Since 2011, Shane has been managing ALD Automotive Romania.
Frédéric Banco is 48 years old and of French nationality. He has a 20 years experience in operational leasing. He started his career within Temsys (lately ALD Automotive France) in 1996 and held various positions in the commercial department during 11 years. From 2007 to 2010, Frederic was in charge of the corporate division for ALD Automotive France. In 2010 he was appointed General Manager of ALD Automotive Algeria before taking the responsibility of ALD Automotive Morocco in December 2012.
