General Management oversees the Company and acts as its representative for third parties. It exercises its authority in accordance with the Company’s purpose and subject to that which the law attributes expressly to the Shareholders’ Meetings and the Board of Directors.
General Management comprises the Chief Executive Officer and three Deputy Chief Executive Officers. It exercises its authority in a collegial manner, ensuring the overall steering of the Group with the help of specialised committees (for example, the Risk Committee). Each member of the General Management is responsible for the direct supervision of several Business
or Service Units.

The Board of Directors approves the Group’s strategy and ensures its implementation.
The Group Management Committee meets to discuss and to reflect on strategy and issues of general interest for the Group. It meets several times a year.
