Investor Relations: Societe Generale's financial communication rewarded

A real benchmark for market professionals, the Extel survey, which is undertaken throughout the financial community, has honoured the Societe Generale group’s financial communication strategy.

On a domestic level, taking all sectors into account, Frédéric Oudéa, CEO of Societe Generale, came top in the listed company Chief Executive Officer rankings, whilst the Bank’s CFO, Philippe Heim, was in first place in the Chief Financial Officer rankings.

Specifically concerning the European banking sector, Frédéric Oudéa and Philippe Heim also both dominated the rankings, as they came second and first respectively.

“These rewards demonstrate the importance the Group places on establishing a long-term relationship of closeness and trust with investors. This involves regular transparent and informative communication with all stakeholders. These rankings reward the commitment and professionalism of all our teams”, said Philippe Heim, the Societe Generale group’s Chief Financial Officer.
