Electronic and simplified way to pay taxes in Morocco

Societe Generale Maroc has opened a tax payment service on its Automated Banking Machines.

This project reflects the General Treasury of the Kingdom of Morocco's wish to outsource the payment of common taxes (vignettes, fines, rates, professional fees…). It allows customers to enjoy a new, electronic and simplified experience, as they are now able to pay their taxes without having to wait at the tax office. For the bank, this solution improves the Automated Banking Machines (ABM) channel through a complementary, differentiating and high value-added service, while capturing cash flows, which generate commissions. From 6% at the end of 2015, Societe Generale Maroc's market share in ABM payments has already increased to more than 13% at the end of April 2016.

Through this customer-oriented approach, Societe Generale Maroc confirms its position as an open and dynamic multichannel bank.
