AI for Finance: How AI is revolutionising the finance sector?

Artificial intelligence (AI) is revolutionising the finance sector and this year’s edition of AI for Finance addressed these challenges and issues, with more than 50 use cases from over 10 countries. As a partner of this 100% digital event, Societe Generale was present to decipher and share how AI is being used within the Group, through speeches on the BFM Business stage, in panels and in masterclasses. The role of women in AI and data science and the importance of diversity in this field was also highlighted through a special meetup organised in collaboration with Women in Machine Learning & Data Science (WiMLDS).

2019, the first edition at the Palais Brongniart

Last year's edition of AI for Finance was held on 3 September 2019 at the Palais Brongniart, with more than 1500 attendees, 75 speakers, and over 300 startups and fintechs. A challenge to reward innovative startups

For this edition of the Banking Innovation Awards, Societe Generale and the consulting firm Wavestone will reward 4 startups or SMEs that offer an innovative solution for the bank and its clients in the field of cybersecurity, data and artificial intelligence, through 4 prizes: the cybersecurity grand prix, the data & AI grand prix, the cybersecurity made in France prize, and the data for good & ethics prize.

Partner of the Paris FinTech Forum 2020

Find Societe Generale at Money2020 Europe

Money2020 Europe took place in Amsterdam from June 3rd to 5th, this is a key event that brings together payments, technologies and financial services sector.
On this occasion, the Group has formed a partnership with Business France, whose action is to promote the development of French Fintechs internationally, and is thus part of the FrenchTech delegation of the event, to promote its Fintechs.
It was an opportunity to find 2 Fintechs from the Societe Generale ecosystem presented in the Business France selection: AssurTech Moonshot-Internet, and Fintech Treezor, as well as
to meet the teams of the Innovation Department who was present their open innovation platform, and attended a round table with Claire Calmejane.

Determined to promote, train and recruite more women in tech, Societe Generale Group is committed to create a partnership with 50inTech inclusive and collaborative platform. This international platform is meant to women in tech as well as all players in the ecosystem decided to solve the problem of lack of diversity, which is a key issues for the Group.
50inTech offers practical tools for sharing, know-how and networking. One goal: to reach 50% of women in technology by 2050.
