TechWeek

The spotlight was on innovation at the start of July 2017 for TECHWEEK, a major event held at our technological hub in Val de Fontenay at the east of Paris, The Dunes. Over four days, Societe Generale presented six of its principal innovations accelerating the Group’s digital transformation.

TechWeek illustrates the openness and technological innovation dynamic that permeates the entire Group. This event contributes to transforming new ideas into solutions, for our business lines and for our customers.

This key event enabled the Group's various business lines to meet IT teams, requirements to meet solutions and achievements to meet prospects, all this in an environment highlighting technological innovation.

During four days, numerous Societe Generale staff and external participants discovered six technology innovation hubs respectively dedicated to Cybersecurity, Big Data & Artificial Intelligence, Cloud, Digital Workplace, Digital Process and Emerging Tech. The six hubs were created from internal communities and reinforce Societe Generale’s capacity to innovate, by sharing the know-how of the Technology and Process stream, thereby accelerating the digital transformation of Group’s businesses. Each hub searched, experimented, showed and delivered innovative solutions, all in the service of the Group’s businesses and customers.

Numerous partners, IT groups and startups hosted stands and conducted workshops on topics such as the public cloud, design thinking or blockchain. Renowned guest speakers (philosophers, scientists, Corporate CEOs as well as experts, both from Societe Generale and external) shared their views on artificial intelligence and its impact on society, the new working methods or the Internet of Things.
