Over 4 days, we will discover 6 pillars of innovation through various stands, conferences, workshops, the Hub showrooms established in the Dunes.
The Dunes technology hub, located at Fontenay-sous-Bois, is an illustration of the digital adventure Société Générale and its employees have embarked on in recent years. This innovative site, which welcomed its first occupants in September 2016, is where most of the Bank’s IT functions are hosted.
A reward for our digital expertise
Societe Generale Group has won third prize at the eCAC40 2016 Awards. This ranking, which is organised by Les Echos Business publication in partnership with Gilles Babinet, Digital Champion of France working with the European Commission, rewards CAC 40 index companies for their digital maturity.

The digital dynamics of our businesses in the spotlight
Societe Generale’s digital transformation was in the spotlight on 3rd of June. Societe Generale collaborators were meeting at the Group’s head office in La Défense-Paris to discuss the next phase of the recent transformation project: “Digital for All”, launched at the end of 2014. This was a chance to share information regarding new digital services and tools developed for clients, shareholders, investors and collaborators.

The ceremony for the first Digital Transformation Awards was held on Tuesday 9 February 2016 in Paris, attended by more than 150 executive managers from the 22 nominated companies, their partners and suppliers, and IT companies. Societe Generale received an award in the HR category for two Group initiatives: the roll-out of the “Digital for All” programme, with the aim of getting all employees on-board with new digital practices by giving them all the tools they need, and the “Life at Work” programme, aimed at improving working conditions for employees.
Engaging employees for a successful Group transformation
Societe Generale has fully leveraged digital media to transform the banking relationship and is banking on its employees to drive this change. A massive project to provide employees with collaborative tools, development of in-house digital expertise, efforts to attract new employees with solid IT skills, new working methods, etc. Human Resources are the very heart of the group's digital strategy to expand each employee's digital skills and experience, reinvent banking relations and build the bank of tomorrow.
