Director of the French Network
Philippe Amestoy began his career with Arthur Andersen before joining Societe Generale’s inspection in 1987. In 1998, he assumed responsibility for the vice presidency of Societe Generale’s Argentinian subsidiary, before being appointed, in 2002, Director General of the International Bank Union, in Tunisia, when it was privatized and acquired by Societe Generale. In 2007, he was promoted General Delegate of the Grand Sud-Ouest region within Societe Generale’s French network. From 2011 to 2015, he was Deputy Chief Executive Officer of Crédit du Nord, particularly in charge of marketing and business issues. In 2015, he was appointed Deputy Chief Executive Officer of the Crédit du Nord Group and Director of Operations and Transformation for the French network in 2017. Philippe Amestoy was appointed Director of the Societe Generale Retail Banking Network in France in June 2019.
