Preparing young people to their career
Internships, apprenticeships, VIE, jobs, Societe Generale supports young people at the start of their career and helps them to develop their skills and to build a professional future.
Plan Campus: Building world-class universities
When the international rankings of universities are published, they are invariably led by the big US and UK academic powerhouses. Bringing many colleges together onto the same campus, they have the advantage of scale. But by building 12 super universities across the country, the French Ministry of Education aims to change this. Societe Generale Corporate & Investment Banking (SG CIB), in line with the Group’s commitment to young people and education, is playing a decisive role in this project.
Working in a foreign country
The VIE is the ideal opportunity to lay the foundation for an international career while assuming responsibilities within a team in one of our global locations. VIE contracts last from 12 to 24 months and are completed in a location outside your country of origin. Locations include: New York, Hong Kong, Tokyo, Prague, Sydney.
Opportunities of this type cover wide range of roles, ranging from commercial and sales to finance and risk management positions, in our global locations worldwide.
This French International postgraduate programme is proposed to European Citizens between 18 and 28 years old.
Helping young musicians take their first steps
First and foremost, supporting music means assisting promising young musicians: today's talents will be tomorrow's great artists. Since 1988, Mécénat Musical Société Générale has been a partner of two highly prestigious classical music schools in France: the National Conservatories of Music and Dance in Paris and Lyon.
