The objective of the Sourcing Division is to contribute to the Group’s operational efficiency by guaranteeing quality relations with suppliers in a neutral, responsible and efficient manner.

100 buyers, most of them based in France, handle sourcing processes with high functional and financial stakes. They are in charge of an annual spend baseline of around EUR 5bn (EUR 3bn for France), divided into about 70 sourcing categories.

The Group’s relationships with its suppliers are based on trust, reliability and competitiveness. Within this context, it gives a special place to the notion of corporate social responsibility (CSR) which translates into strong commitments to human and social rights, environment and sustainable development.

The Sourcing division’s policy

A policy based on three major principles:

Neutrality: Select suitable solutions to meet the Group’s functional and technical requirements through a process that guarantees objectivity, fairness and transparency
Responsibility: Include the CSR dimension (Corporate Social Responsibility) in the operational and professional management of Sourcing
Efficiency: Contribute to improve the operational performance of the Group by seeking innovating, quality and cost-effective solutions with suppliers.
