Bridge, which is played by nearly 2.5 million people in France, is a truly intellectual sport. Concentration, memory, strategy and anticipation are required for successful bids. Team spirit and the ability to maintain an overview of the game - something that comes with experience - are undoubtedly the “extra ingredients” needed for victory.

All these values are the same as those we apply in our business and in the support we have provided to players of all levels and all ages for over 25 years.

As the official partner of the French Bridge Federation (FFB) and its 105,000 members since 2001, our Group also supports the top end of the game through France’s national teams, and encourages the development of bridge in schools and universities.

Societe Generale also sponsors the Rondes Société Générale daily tournaments played simultaneously all year round in more than 600 clubs all over France. Based on the same principle, the Super Rondes Société Générale are held twice a month. Together, these competitions involve over 900,000 players every year.
