Societe Generale teams up with the French National Rugby League for the "Journées des Ambassadeurs"

Journée des ambassadeurs

For the eighth year running, Societe Generale is joining forces with the French National Rugby League (LNR) to promote rugby among the general public during the "Journées des Ambassadeurs" (Ambassadors' Days) held between 8 February and 22 March 2012.

For two days, Ambassadors from the world of professional rugby, including players from TOP 14 Orange teams, referees, managers and former champions, will take rugby to regions and towns where the game is still played at amateur level, with the aim of promoting all facets of the sport.

Four towns are on the 2012 tour:
Compiègne (8 and 9 February)
Nevers (22 and 23 February)
La Roche-sur-Yon (7 and 8 March)
Metz (21 and 22 March)

These exclusive events give young players from local clubs the opportunity to receive tips from the pros during fun workshops, while students and business leaders can discuss the social, educational and economic sides of professional rugby with the Ambassadors.

Societe Generale has supported rugby since 1987 and is involved at all levels of the sport via its partnerships with the National Rugby League and the French Rugby Championship, as well as through the relationships built up between its branches and local committees and clubs.

The "Journées des Ambassadeurs" enable Societe Generale to promote the values it shares with the National Rugby League - mutual respect, team spirit, commitment and conviviality - to a large public audience.
