Fund to support the insertion and revival of works of contemporary music in festival and formation programmes

Musique Nouvelle en Liberté addresses professional music institutions (orchestras, chamber music ensembles, vocal ensembles, festivals, etc.), wishing to enlarge the public audience for contemporary music. With this aim, through the means of financial aid, it encourages formations to propose mixed concerts by inserting works composed after 1960 into their programmes, in balance with the works in their repertoire.

This financial aid, allocated according to precise criteria, helps formations to lessen the costs generated by the execution of contemporary works: equipment rental, royalties, additional rehearsals, etc. This action concerns over 650 concerts every year in France and all over France.
