Messidor

Support for the disabled

Helping disabled people find their place in society.

Messidor helps officially disabled workers obtain ordinary jobs. It does this by offering its 450 members real work experience and personalised support throughout the professional integration process. As almost 1/3 of its members have literacy problems, Messidor set up a programme to allow it members to acquire basic skills. The Foundation has been supporting this initiative for two years.

Clair Logis

Support for underprivileged women

Helping women experiencing dificulties

The Clair Logis association houses over 150 young women experiencing difficulties and helps them to find long term solutions. The association can help the women access healthcare, find accommodation or learn French. “With help from the Foundation, the women have produced several mini-newspapers, which has improved their writing skills”. Isabelle Godet, Director of Clair Logis

CRESUS Alsace

Combating financial exclusion

Tackling “money illiteracy”

Created in 1992, CRESUS Alsace helped almost 15,300 households with financial and debt problems. At the same time, CRESUS Alsace has developed a network of 17 associations offering financial and social support. It also runs “Radio CRESUS”, a radio station entirely dedicated to financial exclusion issues. The Foundation also supports the “Tackling money illiteracy” programme, which aims to raise awareness of budget management and debt prevention.
