Retail Banking in and outside France

In France, the bank operates three complementary distribution networks, namely Societe Generale, Crédit du Nord and Boursorama Banque, representing a total of 3,000 branches and 9.6 million individual customers at the end of December 2008. Our objective is to create added-value solutions to our customers’ needs. In 2010, we will expand our branch network and enhance the performance of our remote banking channels.

Through its International Retail Banking division, the Group is present in 36 countries, with a total of 3,700 branches and some 63,000 staff serving 12 million individual customers and over 800,000 companies. Our focus is on maintaining our universal banking model while continuing to respect the specificities of local markets.

Financial services

For its corporate clientele, the Group provides financial and service solutions for fleets of vehicles, and for computing equipment, and financing solutions for the sales and equipment of professionals. For its retail clientele, it also offers a wide range of consumer credit products, as well as insurance and life insurance products.

Our objective for 2010 is to consolidate our strong positions in and outside France by building on our expertise and ongoing or forthcoming solid partnerships in all our businesses, such as our consumer credit partnership with Banque Postale.
