Jana Svabenska
Director, Trade and Export Finance
Jana Svabenska manages the financing of trade and export for Komercní banka between her country, the Czech Republic, and the rest of the world. She provides a range of banking products destined to help clients carry out their projects. In Prague, where she is one of the rare women to have reached such a level of responsibility, she manages a team of nearly 90 people. She is multilingual (speaking English, Russian, Czech and German), and puts this love of languages at the service of her international customers. Today, she is even learning French and Spanish! By becoming the leader on the Czech market, Jana's department is participating in the economic development of her country.
"My position is the Head of Trade and Export Finance for Komercní banka. In my job, I like very much to meet people from various cultures and also to use other languages. Because the situations are rarely the same, you have to think about the best developments or innovations and you cannot simply repeat what you have done before in order to find the best solution for the client."
