The Entrepreneur Salon: "Meeting customers and prospects"

In France, 94% of companies are SMEs with fewer than ten employees. This is of major interest to Societe Generale which took part in the Salon in Paris on 1 and 2 February.

"Are banks still lending? Are they still active in the area of buying and setting up new companies? How much personal investment do entrepreneurs need to make?" The questions asked by entrepreneurs conveyed their anxiety. For Societe Generale, meeting customers and prospects directly is invaluable. "On the one hand, it is important for us to show that we are there to accompany entrepreneurs who are either buying a company or setting up a new company," explains Gilles Fonfrede, Head of marketing for professionals at BDDF, the retail banking network in France. "And on the other hand, our presence is important in order to make contacts. In two days we have met between 350 and 400 customers and prospects."
