Acquisition

Indeed, within the framework of its patronage and sponsorship actions in favour of culture, in 2009 Société Générale has decided to support the acquisition by the Fabre museum of a work of art by French artist Martin Barré, one of the most unusual players in post-war abstract art: 60-T-26, 1960. Société Générale and the Fabre museum’s corporate foundation have provided their support for the acquisition of this painting, respectively contributing €40,000 and €28,000. This work of art will be unveiled to the general public for the first time during this exhibition.
