We wanted to acknowledge the presence of these now roaming surfers and provide our visitors with a version of the site specially adapted to these handsets. To this end, at the end of September, we decided to set up a bilingual (French and English) version of www.societegenerale.com for iPhones.

Faster. This version of the site has been optimised for iPhone screens and is quicker to upload on the phone. The pages are simpler and contain fewer graphics than the standard version.

The highlights of societegenerale.com: we have decided to focus on the pages that are regularly updated, giving access to the most up-to-date information, including the most recent press releases and the latest articles from the webzine Insight.

Uploading the site

Enter http://www.societegenerale.com into your iPhone browser and you will automatically be directed to the iPhone version of the site. You can consult the standard version at any time by clicking on the link “Visit the www.societegenerale.com website”.

There are four different sections:

• The first section provides a PDF version of the latest press releases.
• The second provides the Group’s share price in real time and a chart plotting its movement over the last five months.
• Then you can read articles from the Insight webzine.
• You can also consult recent job offers on http://careers.socgen.com

In order to remain as interactive as possible, we will continue to develop the iPhone version and the services it offers.
